Shanghai-Hangzhou Expressway is 9km away from JXEDZ, both Zhapu-Jiaxing-Suzhou Expressway and No. 320 national way run through the zone. It only takes 1 hour, 1 hour and 20 minutes, 1 hour and 10 minutes to drive to Shanghai Hongqiao Airport, Shanghai Pudong Airport and Hangzhou Airport respectively. Jiaxing Railway station, 3km away from JXEDZ, is the only major station on the Shanghai-Hangzhou dual line, and it is also the stop of all major passenger and freight trains. By the year 2007, the elevated-track train linking Shanghai with Jiaxing will be put into service. The zone is 120km away from Shanghai Harbor, 40km from Jiaxing Port and 280km from Ningbo Beilun Port. The Inland River Container Transit Port is located in the zone, the port povides River-Sea combination thansportation service with Shanghai Harbor. |
